I have gone "flex" time at my job. It is wonderful - something I have wanted to do for a while now. It was a blessing how and when it came! So now I have a couple of weekdays available to do some of the retrieving and dossier-completing tasks.
On Monday, we tried to go to a local police station to get yet another background check. However, we do not live in the city limits of that station. And they could not do the check. We don’t have a police station in our city limits – so here was a snag. I did get a little upset and stressed. I knew that everything was going to be ok, and that this would be a simple fix. But after doing the research and making the effort that I had, it was quite disappointing.
So, we are heading down to the county seat on Friday. Daniel has to take yet another long lunch during this busy time at his office. Hopefully the sheriff’s office will have what we need, and it will be a smooth process. I didn’t think that this portion of the dossier would be this frustrating.
Prayer: That a knowledgeable and friendly person will be able to help us at the courthouse. And that this simple, yet stress-causing portion of the dossier would be completed smoothly and easily.
